Benzio is a fuel price comparison service. We believe in transparency and minimal data collection. This policy covers both our websites and the Benzio mobile app. It explains what data we collect, what we don't, and how third-party services we use handle your information.

What We Collect

  • Location data โ€” When you grant permission, we use your location to find nearby fuel stations. This data is processed in real-time and is not stored on our servers.
  • Analytics data โ€” We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how people use our site. GA4 collects anonymized usage data such as pages visited, session duration, and general geographic region. No personally identifiable information is collected.

What We Don't Collect

  • No user accounts or login credentials
  • No personal information (name, email, phone number)
  • No payment information
  • No location history stored on our servers
  • No cookies besides those set by Google Analytics

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Google Analytics 4 โ€” Website analytics. Subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
  • OpenFreeMap โ€” Map tiles. No tracking, no cookies, no data collection.
  • LocationIQ โ€” Geocoding service. Uses IP-based rate limiting only; no user data is stored.
  • OpenRouteService โ€” Routing and directions. No user data is stored.
  • Cloudflare โ€” Hosting and CDN. Subject to the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Data Storage

All your preferences โ€” including vehicle profile, favourite stations, and fuel type selection โ€” are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this data, and it never leaves your device.

Fuel price data displayed on the site comes from publicly available government APIs and is not personal data.

Your Rights

Since we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, there is no personal data for us to delete, export, or modify. Your locally stored preferences can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have rights under the GDPR including the right to access, rectification, erasure, and data portability. Given our minimal data collection, these rights are largely satisfied by design.
